Chandra Bhushan (https://chandrabhushan.net/)
is one of India’s foremost environment and climate change experts and the
President & CEO of the International Forum for Environment, Sustainability
& Technology (iFOREST).
Over the past two and a
half decades, Bhushan has advanced the environmental agenda through research,
writing and public policy advocacy. His scope of work encompasses global and
local issues, from climate change and energy transition to industrial pollution
and environmental governance.
He advises various
institutions worldwide and has served on over 15 central and state government
committees. He has authored/ co-authored 20 books, more than 60 reports, and
numerous articles. He is a columnist for India’s leading newspapers, including
the Times of India, Financial Express, Navbharat Times, Deccan Herald, and
Malayala Manorama. In 2017, the UN Environment conferred him with the Ozone
Award.
