Did his medicine degree from CMC Ludhiana in 1980 (topped CMC entrance test in 1980). Joined Ophthalmology in 1986 after having passed out from MBBS  in 1984.

Joined his family business of spinning during July 1986 and setup Ganga Acrowools in 1998-99,. Ganga Acrowools Ltd is now a 4000 strong team and doing their own bit as a social contributor, and is continuing to serve the city, the state  and the nation with steady entrepreneurial growth.

He is an avid Cyclist and a Table Tennis aficionado and has a special place in his heart for CMC & Autism.

Experience

1985 internship in CMC Ludhiana in 1986 was doing House Job in Ophthalmology before joining the family business of Textiles in 1986.

Separated and found own company in 1990/1991 – Ganga Spinning and Weaving Mills limited – started organized trade of Acrylic tops. 

Personal fondness and Hobbies

Fond of Table Tennis, - have won state and district competitions, active in Table Tennis till date  

long distance Cycling – completed 1000  Kms , 600 Kms , 300 Kms, trips and over 300/ 200 Kms several times

In general a fitness enthusiast.

One of the top income tax payers individually from Ludhiana.

Reading and Traveling – have travelled to over 50 nations worldwide for business and leisure
